React | Recombine | Reconsider : Artists

Elizabeth Knipe is a digital poet and experimental video maker who is entertaining an emerging interest in physical electronic art. Her work often deals with social dynamics and reconstruction of "the real" in the digital realm, exploring the role of interactivity in a user's/viewer's experience of an artwork. She is an MFA candidate in the Media Study Department at the University at Buffalo where she also teaches a course in digital art and web design.

John Park is digital artist who studies, researches, and teaches at the University at Buffalo in New York. Currently in his second year in the Department of Art's MFA program at UB, Park's research examines issues of dependency and agency in terms of humans and technology, with particular emphasis on hardware hacking and alternative user inputs. Starting with a background in photography and experimental animation, he received a B.A. in Multimedia Design from the University at Oregon in 2003, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Upon coming to the University at Buffalo, Park's work has moved in to the realms of physical computing and interactivity.
Aaron Smith is an MFA candidate in the Media Study Department at the University at Buffalo.
